Pamela Ely is a lifelong disciple of the piano.  She has played since early childhood both for her own enjoyment and as an accompanist.  In college, she studied music and philosophy but chose to pursue a career in medicine.  After retiring as a hematologist at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, she turned again to the piano.  She completed the two year Piano Technology Program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston and is a Registered Piano Technician.  All aspects of the piano interest her from tuning to rebuilding.  She lives and works in Etna.  When not working on pianos, she tends to her gardens and her bees.
